These terms apply to every order placed on artengraving.co.uk with Art Engraving, 60 Northampton Street, Birmingham, B18 6DX, United Kingdom. Please read them before ordering.

1. Your order

When you place an order you will receive an order confirmation email. A contract is formed when we confirm your order by email. We may decline an order (for example if the personalisation is offensive, infringes someone else's rights or cannot be engraved clearly) and will refund you in full if we do.

2. Personalisation

You are responsible for checking the spelling, dates, text and photos you submit. We engrave exactly what you provide. You confirm that you have the right to use any photo you send us. Because engraving is a laser process, line-art and portrait engravings are an interpretation of your photo and will not reproduce every detail; product images show examples.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. Delivery costs are shown at checkout. Payment is taken when you place your order. If a price is shown incorrectly because of an obvious error, we will contact you before dispatching.

4. Materials

Our pendants and chains are made from 316L stainless steel. Gold and rose gold finishes are PVD (physical vapour deposition) plated. Stainless steel and PVD plating are highly resistant to tarnish and water, but plating can wear over time with abrasion, chemicals and perfume. See our care guide on each product page.

5. Delivery

Processing and delivery times are set out in our Shipping & Delivery Policy. Risk passes to you on delivery.

6. Cancellations, returns and faults

Personalised items are excluded from the 14-day cancellation right. Your rights for faulty or incorrect items are set out in our Returns & Refunds Policy and are in addition to your statutory rights.

7. Our liability

We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms. We do not exclude liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for breach of your statutory rights.

8. Intellectual property

All website content, designs and images belong to Art Engraving unless stated otherwise and may not be copied without permission.

9. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or of Scotland or Northern Ireland if you live there.
